Support for International Students

Through Student Support and Wellbeing, the university provides a specialist service for International and European Union students with physical, neurological, and medical conditions and impairments. Experienced professionals can assess students' needs, develop access procedures and therapies, and arrange and monitor support throughout their courses. Furthermore, the university recognizes that support systems in higher education vary around the globe. As a result, a disabled student transitioning from one culture to another may require advice and help both before and throughout their university experience.

The university also tailors its help by assessing the student's unique needs. Students who are on medication or receiving therapy before attending university, for example, receive assistance in recognizing and managing the different medical procedures in their home and host countries. Furthermore, by detecting differences, needs, and support requirements early on, the university can help international scholars have a terrific university experience and reach their full potential at Kent.

Advisory services in all areas of disability are provided throughout the application process, prior to arrival and enrolling, and during the academic year (sensory and mobility differences, medical conditions, autism, and attention deficits, specific learning differences, mental health, chronic and medical conditions).

Specialized services should be provided with the purpose of building a customized wellness strategy for potential students.

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in your own country may be able to help you.
